Fleetscale Hulls

Where appropriate, the hulls are fully detailed, with the plating, riveting and other surface markings, moulded into the hull. The plans usually consist of a plan and profile views with other detailed sections and are drawn to full model size. The delicate detail and moulding quality are to the highest standards and make for the basis of a really impressive model.

The fitting packs for the 1:128 scale hulls are made up from components made by Fleetscale and Quaycraft. These are generally made from cast polyester resin, although some of the smaller more delicate fittings are in cast white metal.

Please note:

These models are suitable for R/C or static display. However, they are only intended for EXPERIENCED model makers. The models are classed as a semi kit and therefore all that's included is:
A glass fibre hull.
A set of plans.
If specified a fibre glass deck moulding.
If specified, a fittings pack containing weapons and most other general fittings on the decks and superstructure.

You DON'T get:
Materials for the superstructure, decks or interior woodwork
Motors, Propshafts, props couplings shafts
Step by step illustrated construction drawings, material cutting lists or building instructions.
Or anything else that's not specifically specified above.

The materials required to make this model include many different types, as are the multitude of options for motors, batteries, radio equipment. It is therefore impossible to offer a simple quotation for the complete cost to build any of these models. You will need to make these selection decisions yourself, based on your your own modelling experience and preferences. If you have to ask these basic questions, then these models are probably beyond your modelling skills and experience, and we would suggest that you perhaps build from a few complete kit's first.

As a bare minimum, you should allow 200.00 G.B Pounds Sterling for the additional items required to complete the model over and above the price of the hull, plan and fittings pack combination . However multi-channel functions like rotating turrets, smoke and sound generators, and independent motor control can easily push this figure to over 500.00 G.B Pounds Sterling.
