Typical of the early units and lacking many of the later features, the original short fox’l design from the second group ordered 31/8/39. Drawn at 1/8-in. per ft. Sheet A shows side profile and plan plus armament fit. Sheet B shows Internal side profile and plan views of superstructure and decks. Sheet C shows hull lines shell expansion and detail. Sheet D details the forecastle deck, compass platform and a plan of the hold deck (32 drawings). Drawn November 1998.

Flower Class Corvette. HMS Potentilla of February 1942. One of six units ordered 3/8/40 a long fox’l design with many improvements, 4 DC throwers, splinter protection, Type 271 search radar, and Admiralty watertube boilers. This subject is drawn at 1/8-in. per ft in considerable detail. Sheet A shows the external profile and plan views. Sheet B gives internal profile, plan view of fox’l deck, bridge deck, compass platform and RDF platform (5 drawings). Sheet C provides plan views of upper deck, lower deck, hold and shell plating edges (5 drawings). Sheet D provides the bridge construction, plus detail of the engine room casing and after gun platform construction to a larger scale (25 drawings). Sheet E provides detail of the hull lines, sections and hull plating (10 drawings). Drawn March/April 1998 and completed end of 1998.

This subject is redrawn from the original ‘as fitted’ builders G.A’s, being fully detailed on five sheets, showing over 400 items. Sheet A provides the external, side and plan view with the .303in Hotchkiss Mark 1* Machine gun detailed (5 drawings). Sheet B shows construction detail, side profile and upper deck plans and hull section (6 drawings).
