Waterline Markings

Vinyl Lettering is supplied in sheet form with the characters and symbols computer cut from a flexible vinyl film with a waxed backing sheet and the surplus film in place to prevent the letters becoming loose. Characters are removed from the backing sheet and applied direct to the model. The permanent adhesive ensures the letters remain in place without any additional treatment although they will withstand overcoating with all standard varnishes and sealers.

The sets are supplied with full colour instructions to help in positioning. The letters can be applied to almost any substrate as long as it is clean and free from dust. Being only 70 microns thick, they conform easily to uneven surfaces and can be moulded further with the application of mild heat, from a hair dryer for example.

Waterline Markings 

Roman Numeral waterline markings , Plimsol lines, Bow thruster warning symbol and Bulbous Bow symbols. Approximately 50 of each numeral character and a selection of sizes for the others. Each sheet contains each of the following numeral sizes, 2, 3, 4 and 6mm.

Prealigned Waterline Markings

Similar to the above, but each sheet contains scale spaced, metric or Imperial depth markings. Scales include 1:128, 1:96, 1:48 and 1:72 and are available in either Black or White.
