History

These attractive craft are based at the Wapping police depot on the River Thames, not far from Tower Bridge in London. The craft are not for show purposes but are part of the Thames fleet of Police launches and are worked hard, requiring overhauls every six months. Equipped with twin Perkins diesels they are capable of speed of up to 22 knots. With their green hulls and mahogany cabins they are one of the most attractive and well known craft to be seen on the river.
