Avispa: A Glynn Guest design for a steam powered semi-scale Torpedo Boat Destroyer. This is a two sheet plan for a radio controlled model. It is to an approximate scale of 1:35 producing a model 40 inches (1000mm) long. The plan was featured, together with photographs and full constructional advice in the February 2012 Model Boats magazine (No. 62/735). Full constructional information is included on the plans and the model could be built with conventional electric power if desired. The model is straightforward to construct with little or no model building experience required and the recommended steam plant is a standard commercial unit.
