These craft are based on one of the tugs used by the Dutch Navy in the Den Helder dockyard. The ship has two powerful diesel engines driving twin screws and are capable of handling the largest of ships in confined waters that she operates in.

The model is based on a standard private design, many of which have been constructed and sold for private service. The colour scheme shown on this model is fictional as the variations shown above. The schemes used in the full size craft are too numerous to mention, as is the general fittings and layout. For the Navy version the complete ship is painted NATO light grey with deck in non-slip green.
